Regulated drinking water systems site services.
In Ontario, legislation and regulations are important for protecting the safety of drinking water because they outline who is responsible for each aspect of a drinking -water system and their specific responsibilities.
Ontario Regulation 170/03 known as (Drinking-Water Systems Regulation) made under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), sets requirements for owners to ensure that all adjustments or operational checks of the drinking -water system equipment are preformed by “Trained persons.”
Neotec trained operators meet standards for Ontario Regulation 170/03, 319/08 and 243/07.
Schools/Townships/Childcare Centers
- Collection of all water samples required for compliance
- Completion of chain of custody forms and maintenance of all on-Site logbooks
- Analysis of water samples through an accredited laboratory
- Report of sample water results to customer
- Notification to facility owner and MOE in the event of adverse results
Drinking Water System Services
