When a softener’s exchange capacity gets exhausted, it needs periodic regeneration. During regeneration, the soft water supply is interrupted until the process is complete which can prove detrimental to the downstream processes.

Neotec Twin-Alternating Softening systems are designed to deliver continuous soft water even during regeneration.

They feature a twin mineral tank system governed by a meter-initiated control valve. In the twin-tank system, one tank is in service and the other in reserve. When the exchange capacity of the service tank gets exhausted, the control valve automatically switches over to the reserve tank. The exhausted tank is regenerated immediately and placed in reserve.

This twin-alternating system ensures a continuous supply of soft water without the risk of hard water getting in the service flow.

Neotec Twin-Alternating Softening Systems are ideal for feed-water pretreatment of commercial and industrial reverse osmosis systems, boilers and other applications where un-interrupted soft water supply is required.
